Workshops

Our workshops invite people into permaculture as both a practical toolkit and a way of relating to land, community, and change. We offer one-time classes as well as seasonal learning series that build skills, relationship, and community over time.

 

These learning spaces are rooted in:

  • observation

  • systems thinking

  • seasonal rhythms

  • care for land and people

  • long-term stewardship​​​​​

You don’t need prior experience—just curiosity and care for the places you live and work.

🌿One-Time Workshops​​​​

Short, hands-on learning experiences focused on specific topics.

  • Embodied Permaculture (AKA Social Permaculture)

  • Pollinator Support at Home

  • Urban Chicken Care

These 6-week series workshops are aligned with the seasons, designed to deepen relationship with place and community over time.

We offer custom workshops and learning sessions for teams, community groups, and organizations seeking to work through a permaculture lens—supporting systems thinking, collaboration, and care for shared spaces.​

Applied Permaculture Installation

Applied Permaculture Design

This series is for those who have their Permaculture Design Certificate and are looking to take their permaculture design skills to the next level. Through applied, hands-on experience, we'll move through the design process together on a local site and compete a full installation of the design--giving you real world experience to add to your resume as a designer. In this course we cover:

Overview:

  • Basics of what goes into a permaculture design including:

    • Process (observation and interaction)

    • Collaborative design techniques

    • Physical design drafting (hand drawn vs. using iPad/Procreate)

    • Curating material and plant lists

    • Developing installation timelines

​

  • Additionally we'll cover business basics such as: 

    • How to charge for your time​

    • Writing client contracts

    • Business and organization development 

    • Working with employees, contractors and volunteers

​
