Learn everything you need to know about raising chickens, from choosing the right coop, to maintaining proper care, to dealing with the potential issues that might arise when caring for your backyard birds! Hear about first hand experiences, tips and tricks that will leave you better prepared to care for urban chickens.
Chickens impact our lives in more ways than we might imagine. How does having chickens impact our schedules, and how do we plan accordingly? How do our chickens help us in the garden and in what other ways might we utilize chickens in sustainable living? What do we do when a chicken is sick or injured, or dies prematurely? We'll answer all of these questions and more.
This event is being held in coordination with Conscious Growth and EARTH Space PDX.
